Firehouse Fun

Decided to venture out with the Brilliant Beginnings Preschool. F is for fire station and field trip. We had a great time. I think I was more excited than the kids. I've never been inside a fire station before (only an ambulance). Pretty impressive. Check out the picture.

I'm Back (sort of)

It's been a long winter. . . warm spring weather can't come soon enough! I've been a little "under the weather" for a few months (long story), but things are looking up now. Can't wait to get back on my mountain bike. For now I have to settle for long walks. We had a great weekend with our family. The grandkids are getting so big. We really need a new grandbaby soon. Have a great day everyone.

Six Years Old!

Happy, happy birthday Ellie! Where did all the time go? I still remember so vividly the day you were born. I thought for sure they had made a mistake when they pointed you out in the nursery at the hospital. You had such dark curly hair and a cute swollen face! It was so fun to hold you and love you and think about all the things we would do together. And now you are six, in school and on your way to becoming a young lady. I hope you have a wonderful birthday. Papa and I love you so much.
